We have many exciting things going on at the shelter this month. This month Friends of Perry Animal Shelter has already accomplished so much. One of the major achievements was receiving a $5,000 grant for sterilization of dogs and cats in the city of Perry.
Puppies are about a week away from being ready the only way to reserve a puppy is to come to the shelter and put down a 150$ non-refundable deposit that becomes your adoption fee upon pick up. I had lots of interest on certain puppies via Facebook messenger, those messages are lost to the wind I cannot find any of them. That is why E-mail was the best way to get in touch about showing interest n a puppy. Please if you would like to adopt, come by the shelter and meet the puppies and put down a deposit.
Hours are 2PM-6PM Tues- Friday
Special Saturday hours March 11th only 8AM - 6PM
"To offer refuge, medical care, nourishment and an opportunity for a second chance at life to injured, unwanted and abused animals” is the mission statement of Friends of Perry Animal Shelter (FOPAS).
FOPAS was first incorporated in 2004 and until two years ago, the organization ran out of volunteers’ homes. Lynne Gibbs, volunteer and adoption coordinator, has been with the organization right from the beginning.
